長崎平和推進協会のご協力で「みどりのせんそうほうき」の作り方を英文に訳して貰いました。それをアレンジして英語版のチラシを作製しました。ピースミュージアム館内で配布しています。ご希望の方は事務局へご連絡下さい。

参考までに英文訳の全文を掲載します。

LET'S MAKE "SENSOU HOUKI" ("A WAR BROOM")*
-As far as possible reuse strips of cloth, surplus yarn, twist ties (used for wrapping goods like breads), etc. without newly purchasing materials.
-Materials to be prepared (for 2 pieces of "SENSOU HOUKI")
Knitting yarn, felt (10cm by 4cm in size), 2 twist ties, 2 safety pins, 1 piece of paperboard (10cm by 5cm in size), a marker pen, scissors, a needle, yarn (the same color as the felt) and a clothes iron

Cut the felt into a trapezoidal shape and furthermore cut a little bit its corners on the ends.
Wind the knitting yarn on the paperboard and cut the ends of such wound knitting yarn on one side.

Bind it with the twist tie.
(←Bind tightly at this place.)
Roll the felt around it and sew the felt at the back with the needle and yarn.
Trim the edge of the knitting yarn by the scissors and push the safety pin through the twist tie.
Write "せんそうほうき" or "SENSOU HOUKI", or "War Renunciation" on the reverse side. Completion!

*In Japanese the word for broom ("HOUKI") has the same pronunciation as the word for renunciation. So the "War Broom" can also stand for "War Renunciation"!
